Q: As an apostle, how does your
anointing come through your music
ministry?
A: Well- as I stated before- the apostolic
call is a call to death, servanthood
and suff ering. With the Lord, if this
is your calling - the Resurrection is to
servant leadership, the faithful bride of
Christ who then rules and reigns with
Him (having been tested and approved
unto even death by God fi rst - which
is of course lifelong and progressive) -
having been identifi ed and conformed
to His likeness and His death and so
then raised as a Son (not genderal but
Spiritual) to His Right Hand in power,
glory and honour to do all that He ordains
for us to do working with others
in the body of Christ, especially with
other ministers.
Q: Have you gotten any feedback
from your albums? What are people
saying about your music?
A: Yes. I have received much praise and
even acclaim by CBC Radio-Canada
and from other musicians who I really
admire. Th is is my fi rst published music
works and so I was so surprised -
pleasantly surprised and really thankful
as I am encouraged to do more
songwriting, producing and recording
soon. I can get by on several instruments
and so am not much of a
player per se, though I did get to concert
level musicianship when I was an
adolescent. However, my forte is really
songwriting and producing. I also
love to promote other ministries and
musicians.
Q: What else is new with your ministry
and work?
A: I am considering writing my books
soon, hopefully later this year. I will be
doing a column for Power for Today magazine
soon to start with and am writing
regular blogs at blogger and Wordpress to
get in to a regular writing mode as preparation
for this. For sure, we will have another
CD album release in 2010 - maybe
more than one- I am already working on
new songs that I have written- I have over
100 songs that I have not yet recorded
and produced- sometime by this summer
I hope to produce free online songs and
release another CD! I am also praying to
visit, play and preach all over the world,
of course- I have a special love for Africa
and the ministries I have worked closely
with the past 3 years, since I started all
of this work! I had almost 1000 fans in
just a few days and I have several groups
and social network connecting with several
thousands now and growing stronger.
Th ank-you for this interview Apostle Dr.
Lee Ann- I really admire and love what
you do in your own Ministries and allied
Ministries with Kingdom Women Ministries
with Apostle Dr. Yenan. I predict that
your online Power for Today magazine
and your Ministries will continue to grow
and be blessed and highly favoured by the
Lord in the months ahead for 2010! God
richly bless you all!

Q: Blessings Apostle! It is always good to
speak with you.
A: Hugs all around and blessings to you!
Q: I’ve been watching your Facebook account
( http://www.facebook.com/RebeccaMichael. Music ) – it is abuzz with news about your new
musical albums. Tell us a little about them!
A: I wrote 3 CD Albums and they are now
published! I also started a publishing record
label, registered as a member of SOCAN and
ASCAP under my name (Apostle Dr. Rebecca
Michael). I recently started Phoenix Horizons
Records, where I will write, produce, and publish
my own music and music of other “Indie”
musicians. I am combining all of this with our
PACM Inc. Non-Profi t Ministries and waiting
to see where the Lord leads us!
Q: Wow, it sounds like you are very busy!
A: Producing and writing music is fun work to
do!
Q: Tell us about your albums.
A: Th e fi rst CD is called, Walk Th en Run. It is
blues rock style; love blues rock! Th e next two
are rock Christian contemporary. Th e second
is called Agape Love, with a strong marriage
theme. Th e last one is called Rose of Sharon,
where I wrote and sang harmonies to the entire
book, the Song of Solomon. I also incorporated
some other Scriptures (such as 1 Corinthians
13) and my own songs.
10% of all of our proceeds will automatically go
back in to our Ministries, and 10% of any proceeds
from our own Ministries automatically
go back in to our Spiritual father, Apostle Dr.
Herman Bouwer.
Th e albums are going up the charts, especially
the fi rst released CD. I was interviewed as a
Canadian Songwriter for blues, rock, gospel
and a music Producer with SOCAN / ASCAP
recently by CBC Radio-Canada- the interview
can be found in the articles posted at my facebook
music fan page. My music and teaching
videos are also being featured for the ‘Hey Cover
Girl’ 8 part series as well at the viswikipedia
site for Chatelaine magazine as a former Cover
Girl for them- 30 yrs. Later I am back with
these Ministries and they have posted my videos-
also my work as a music Producer with
Bill Clint- another upcoming Canadian Songwriter
who is recently signed and produced
with our record label called Phoenix Horizons
Records. I am being asked to radio airplay in
Ghana, Africa and places in the Caribbean.
Basically, in a nutshell- I am President of two
organizations to do with creating, producing
and publishing Christian teaching media at
our NPO started in 2006 called PACM Inc.
and blues, rock, gospel and folk genres music
so far with our Record company called Phoenix
Horizons Records started in 2009.
Q: What is your most popular song?
A: My most popular songs are from the
fi rst ‘Walk then Run’ CD Release, 2009-
especially the lively upbeat songs like
‘Movin to the Island’, ‘He Says, She Says’
and ‘Tribal blues for Africa’- the last two
songs are what attracted CBC Radio-
Canada to interview me as I mentioned
and the other songs that are increasingly
popular is the Song of Solomon songsespecially
‘Return of the King’ from the
Rose of Sharon CD, 2009, where I sing
the entire bible book of the Song of Solomon
in choral harmonies to a driving contemporary
studio beat mix. I did this to
encourage and facilitate bible chapter and
verse memorization.
Q: What is your favorite song that you’ve
written, and why?
A: My favourite song that I have written is
probably ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ which
is a spontaneously written prayer of the
process of the Cross in my own life- death
/ resurrection life that happens for all believers
over our lifetimes. Without our
Lord Jesus Christ- we would eventually all
experience this soul death part with no rebirth
/ resurrection process to accompany
it- which is the life of the fool. With the
Lord- we will lose- we will suff er losses,
grief and deaths- but we will be raised in
glory- beauty for ashes, joy for mourning,
eternal life of the soul for death- eventually
this will result also in physical resurrection
of our very bodies.
Stay tuned next time for the second installation
of this interview and more from Apostle
Dr. Rebecca!

CBC Radio-Canada - Interview for Songwriter Rebecca Michael- Oct. 25 / 2009
Yip- My songs featured below as Youtube music videos I did were featured several times at CBC Radio- Canada- internationally- followed by an on-air interview with Show Host for the Maple Leaf Mail bag Ian Stone for Canadian Songwriter Rebecca Michael for blues, rock and gospel genres- also a music Producer / Publisher with our Phoenix Horizons Records.Rebecca Michael was discovered through a song submission through a missionary in Ghana, Africa who submitted her song named Isaac Boateng- who also submitted her songs there for national airplay at several FM Radio Stations which became a hit in Ghana- for her 'Walk then Run' CD Album release in 2009- available online everywhere at itunes, amazon music mp3 downloads etc. It was quite strange and funny for a Canadian Songwriter to be discovered as such by CBC Radio- Canada from a country across the world but such is the power of indie music artists now online and over the internet- You just never know where you are going to land and how! LOL Here is the link and the interview is archived over here date Oct. 25 / 2009 about 5 minutes or so in to the hour long show - Click here at http://www.rcinet.ca/rci/console/index.asp?langu...e=en&idEmission=1929 and also check for Rebecca Michael mentions on previous shows at this link for Oct. 2009.
